The videographer interviews his father, and for the first time learns about what it takes to sustain a small business during hard times.

Takeaway:
This is one of the few times I made a video alone from pre-production to post-production, with completely original ideas and footage. It was interesting to hear not just about a small business during the pandemic, but about my dad's business. My dad usually doesn't talk that much about his work other than when he occasionally asks for help, and he definitely doesn't talk about any financial struggles too often. Interviewing him and getting a more formal response was a great way to learn more about how the business was going, and how he was handling the pandemic psychologically. Telling this story was also a reminder of how much I enjoy visual storytelling.
