About Kairos

The word means time – not as measured by the hands of a clock, but to signify the opportune moment to accomplish a crucial action.

That describes the work, and position, of Rutgers University Journalism and Media Studies undergraduates. Their interests and goals range widely, from social justice to gender equity to global affairs; from religion to sports to pop culture. What they share is their position in life: all are on verge of leaping forth, and making their mark.

We hope you enjoy their work.

This online magazine is published twice yearly.
