Takeaway:
This was one of the first magazine stories I'd ever written, and one of the longest. I prefer longform journalism, so this was a welcome challenge for me. I enjoyed meeting Rutgers professors, students and even doctors. Although the idea to write about orthorexia was personal, I was able to more fully grasp the scope of this modern problem by the end of my journey.
