Takeaway: Within a story idea there lies a greater plot with the potential to give others a platform and a voice. We were able to practice photography and meet with individuals on both sides of an issue, gathering their points of view and disseminating the information to the best of our ability. We learned how to work with interpreters, and to interview people who speak another language.
