Takeaway:
Remote learning gives higher education the chance to reinvent instruction. Equally significant is the reinvention of how students and professors interact, as we search for better ways to connect virtually. Equity must be at the center of instruction plans for remote learning in higher education, for students, faculty, and staff. But newer instruction methods like podcasting can only succeed if empathy is embedded into its use.
