Working on this story has given me a closer look at the daily lives of people stuck at home since the start of the pandemic. It is isolating, and has posed new challenges around activities that we often took for granted before. Above all, I am inspired by the strength of the women I interviewed, and their efforts to adapt to the sudden drastic changes in their lives, while still finding joy in the little things.
