This was an interesting look into the world of turning a hobby into a professional practice. There's no easy way to say it isn't easy, especially when you have to work around other responsibilities and obligations in life. Karabatsos was very transparent about the realities of making art-you-can-eat cakes, and provided some practical insight and advice for those who might look into taking up this venture themselves.
